Overview
A leader is only as strong as the relationships surrounding him or her. For most leaders, the most important relationship in their life is their marriage.
Goals
To grow and strengthen leaders’ marriages.
The goal of Growing Marriage Workshops is to strengthen and deepen leaders’ marriages and families in order to positively impact their churches, communities and nations. Growing Marriage seeks to multiply this positive impact by equipping leading couples to replicate this training within their spheres of influence.
Our Approach
Growing Marriage courses are designed around an adult learning model.
This model is highly interactive, with discussions, case studies and individual, group and couple exercises and homework. The workshops are limited to 15 couples per event to maximize discussion and community building. The workshop is optimally presented across 8-10 weeks with 2-3-hour weekly meetings, but it is also available in an intensive weekend format.
Workshop Formats:
Intensive workshops: One or two courses are offered over a period of 2 to 4 days. Couples are invited to return later to complete further courses.
Weekly workshops: Couples meet for 2 to 3 hours weekly for between 8 and 10 weeks.

Course Authors
Hani & Tertia Morcos
Hani has worked as a senior consultant with DAI facilitating many formal and non-formal courses in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Tertia has worked with DAI as a senior consultant since 2014. Hani is from Egypt and Tertia is from South Africa, and they have spent most of their married life in Egypt running marriage seminars for engaged and newly married couples. Hani and Tertia currently live in Southern California, where they are practicing Marriage & Family therapists. They have four adult children.
